Kids call these snackle boxes! They have come in handy on the many road trips we have taken lately for various reasons. They are sturdy and made well; the latches/locking mechanism hold strong. I appreciate the extra space for ice if needed and the strong seal for keeping in water/melted ice until we can dump it out. They surprisingly hold a lot of snacks or finger foods, elimination the need to bring multiple boxes and bags in the car. Very handy!

I thought it would be very helpful to review this product because there are many mixed reviews already posted.First thing- this is exactly the type of item that is very useful for my family. I have two boys, and we’re constantly on the run to one sport or the other. “Snackleboxes” not only make it easy for me to separate different types of snacks, but it also makes it fun for them to pick what they want from the visually pleasing presentation. This also helps to make the healthy snacks seem more appealing to them, so they get the nutrition they need without even realizing!The two different sizes are great for accommodating our needs for both long and shor days. It’s also nice that there’s a lower compartment for ice, especially for those warmer days.Easy enough to clean as I throw the various compartments into the top rack of the dishwasher. The pictures do make it seem more durable than it actually is, but it’s not a dealbreaker.I must agree with other reviewers that the lids are difficult to fully snap in place when using all of fhe compartments, this is probably the most frustrating part for me since I’m always rushing to get out the door. Trying to reconfigure a snack box in order to pack it up definitely slows me down, so be aware of that.Overall, I’m satisfied with these portable snack trays. Hopefully the sellers and/or manufacturers use all of the feedback to make the suggested improvements. I’d still recommend as is, but some tweaks would make this a 5-star item!

These are exactly as described. The plastic is very durable and crystal clear. All of the latches work as designed, but are very easily opened with unexpectedly little force. The latches are placed on all four sides of the container, so the likelihood that all of them would pop open is slim, but they do open easier than most of this type. The gasket is thin and removable for easy cleaning. My only complaint about these is that the “date indicating knob” is simply raised numbers on a white wheel that is too difficult to read. I have no use for this anyway, but if it is something that one would use, be prepared to write your own dates with a permanent marker. These stack atop one another with no signs of stress even when full. However, they do not nest for storage. The size of ice cubes that can be used in the larger container is limited. It does not fit the ice I purchase at local retailers in a bag. I intend to make an ice block/sheet that will fit in the container as this will last longer than cubes anyway, but this is something that should be considered for use for “camping or picnics”. I think the larger unit serves as a decent container for thawing meat in the refrigerator as well. I simply placed paper towels in the bottom to soak up the liquids and have less risk of leaks in my fridge. Overall, I like these and recommend considering them.

The large box is impressively spacious and can hold plenty of food, either in bulk or distributed among the included compartments. The inclusion of an additional, narrower box (with the same width and length as the larger one) can come handy, as it allows for additional but also separate storage. Both boxes feature low-profile handles, which make them easy to carry. They’re made of sturdy, clear plexiglass that seems durable.Another strong feature is their versatility. The ice compartment can be removed entirely to provide extra space in the box. Additionally, the smaller compartments are removable, allowing room for larger items when needed. The food-related safety certifications (food-grade, BPA-free, etc.) are also reassuring.Now, the issues. First, while some users reported problems with the lids not closing properly when the smaller compartments are in place, I didn’t experience this. However, my concern is that the lids don’t feel snug enough to guarantee airtightness or leak-proof functionality.The inner lids also have a bit of a learning curve. Figuring out how to place them correctly can take some trial and error. A clearer or more intuitive design would have been helpful.I initially thought the little wheel on top of the lid was meant to control airtightness for freshness or ventilation. It turns out it’s for marking storage times. Unfortunately, this feature could have been much better. It only displays odd-numbered days—and only for the current month. What if I’m storing something for more than a month? Having two dials—one for months and one for days—would have been far more practical. Furthermore, the wheels lack a locking mechanism or “teeth,” making it easy to accidentally move the marker and lose track of the storage date.Overall, these containers are a good idea with solid construction at a reasonable price point (especially with the current discount). However, they lack refinement in several areas. I’d rate them between 3.5 and 4 stars, but I’ll round up to 4.

I appreciated the two different size options, allowing me to arrange various dishes effectively. The lids were a nice touch, helping to keep everything fresh and covered. However, I did find that the trays themselves felt a bit flimsy and prone to scratches.
