GEERTOP Aluminum Tent Pegs Heavy Duty Stakes Peg 11 in for Camping Tent Canopy Tarps

Love these. Whilst camping in Norfolk, I managed to hit a piece of flint with one of the black Outwell colour coded for idiots plastic pegs and it shattered. I would guess that eventually all the plastic pegs will get replaced with these. I might paint the guy line pegs reflective yellow so I can remain an idiot. (The black Outwell pegs and the yellow pegs are, in all other respects, exactly the same). These Geertop pegs hold well even in soft ground if put in at the correct angle. They can be hammered in with proper hammers if a bit of care is exercised. They pull out easily if done correctly and if you hit flint. they might bend slightly but they don't shatter and they can be straightened. On the minus side, despite being light alloy, they are considerably heavier than plastic, even allowing for the extra plastic ones you might carry in case of breakage. Not a problem for car campers like me.

These are to hold down the gazebo-and therefore need to have very high pull out force.Do the job-and are VERY solid-and also aesthetically pleasing.

These tough pegs are going nowhere!! We had all on getting them out of the ground when we left but that is exactly what we wanted them for. Thank you :)

Ordered 2 packs. They're lighter than I expected. Once they're in the ground they didn't budge no matter how hard I tested them. More expensive than bivvy pegs but a lot stronger and far less likely to come loose.

I needed some serious pegs for making out a plot and tent pegs were useless. These pegs are both attactice, straight, long and strong

Good quality and lightweight but strong does the job very well, very pleased.
