I like the white - matches my router. Case is plastic but there are vent holes throughout the device so not worried about it overheating. I like how the power jack and ethernet ports are on the same side, so you can have cords routed out the back and the front of the switch is nice and clean looking. Power supply cord is also long enough to allow me to place the switch in a good spot without worrying about cord length.The packaging for this product is very nice; switch comes in a colorful shrink-wrapped box with a nice quick start guide explaining the features. There are definitely cheaper switches (I saw one for $10 less than this one), but the cheaper ones are generic or I suspect will have very litle after-sale support. This brand has a website and support address, so I’m confident they’d provide help if needed. Thanks for reading!

I upgraded to this switch once I upgraded to 2 gb fiber. Most houses are only wired cat 6, so the best you are going to get in these cases is 1 gb. If you are wired for cat 7 you will be able to use the full 2.5gb. Simply connect it to the router, an EERO in my case, connect some cables and away you go!

So far so good. Used as part of speed upgrade on home network. All ports work and went from a tp-link to this one. Was getting about 40-50 mbps on the tp and now getting over 800 on video games. Granted the tp link was older but this fired up the network running 6 lan cables elsewhere.

Very economical switch for home network. Now I can use my file server's 2.5Gbps network at full speed to transfer files. Truly plug & play, no issues at all.

Sweet little switch. Build quality is nice. Plug and play with no issues at all. It’s compact and looks great with my white ONT, Cisco switch and Eero 7 Pro. Provides plenty of ports for a small lab/home network. And performance is great. I attached a couple screen shots showing my speed using my MSI motherboard with a native 2.5Gb nic.The only reason I took off one star is because the lights just blink like crazy. The company should switch to a better use of the led notifications on the front of the switch to make it easier to identify the state of the ports. But if you can live with that and the blinking lights don’t bother you, this is definitely a five star switch. Especially for the price and its performance.

Recently purchased new devices with 2.5gb ethernet to access 2gb fiber internet. This switch delivers the full 2gb from fiber to each device. Great value!
