Great for fans of another " bricks construction " company
I got this as a "thank you" for my daughter, who's a massive Lego fan. She absolutely loves it !!! The instructions are clear and although the "bricks" are very small, she really enjoyed putting it together.

Inspired by fantasy settings and filled with charming miniature elements—from a tiny train and clocks to small animals and intricate props—this set is a rewarding build for any crafting enthusiast.Once assembled, it doubles as an eye-catching book nook or decorative piece, whether it’s displayed closed or opened to reveal its inner magic. The included LED light strip adds a lovely glow, creating a cosy atmosphere that feels like you’re peeking into another world.✅ Pros:- Beautiful magical design with charming miniature details- Stunning when completed—great bookshelf or desk display- Light strip included adds a warm, atmospheric touch- Versatile design works open or closed- High-quality materials with thoughtful touches❌ Cons:- Instructions can be unclear in parts—requires focus and patience- Some pieces are small and fiddly, making parts of assembly tricky- Light strip installation is a bit awkwardFinal Thoughts:If you’re looking for a unique, magical project with a strong visual payoff, the Hogokids magic train station book nook delivers. While it’s not the easiest kit for beginners, the final result is well worth the effort and will definitely become a standout feature on any shelf.

magic theme
No points for guessing what inspired this set, it does have its differences of course but at a quick glance its passable for the thing that inspired it.The instructions are ok, a bit different to the big brand but they can be followed ok. My 8 year old has built a lot of brick sets and was able to follow the instructions fine. The main difference is the big brand will have far more smaller bags numbered in order whereas with this (and a lot of other similar non brand sets) you get much more pieces so have to spend a bit of time hunting through to find the piece you need. However, it helps that these tell you the sizw of the piece you need. The final build isn't quite as sturdy as the top brand but given the drastic difference in price I still think this is great value so I've gone for 5 stars on that basis.

Magical lego set that is a new twist on book nooks
I ordered this "fauxgo" book nook which features a train station that looks oddly similar to that found in books that tell the story of a certain boy wizard. Made by the Amazon brand HOGOKIDs, I wouldn't really recommend it for kids, at least not kids under the age of 10 or so.I haven't finished building it yet but I am very much enjoying the process - it's a family affair. We already have a couple of book nooks but I had never seen a bricks version; in some ways it lacks the olde worlde charm - the sepia tones, the crumpled newspapers etc - but it does have a charm of its own. I especially like the way fold out to reveal a whole scene all of which is built to the same level of detail. The bricks are top quality and I've come to discover that actually faux-go brick models can be as good as or better than the real thing. Prior to this we finished one that amazed me in its detail, and complexity. This one is of medium level difficulty I'd say, but given that there are loads of elements to it, we are not short of attention to detail. One thing I would say, is that although this is brick based, there are quite a lot of set-specific parts that are not really 'built' but added - the clock face, the owl, the (ahem, sorting) hat. But that's true of regular lego these days also. The instructions are comprehensive, I am finding them easy to follow, and the pieces are split into manageable bags.I love that there is lighting in the puzzle and looking into the nook when its placed on the shelf it does look atmospheric. Even the only bit I'm not enamoured by - the steam water vapour made of blue and transparent blocks - looks pretty special at the back of the 'nook' one the lights are on.I just love book nooks in general, there is something about them that just speaks to my soul, and this one is rather different to my others but still lovely. If you don't like Mr Potter, you could always minimise the specific reference points to the book, and just build a lovely Victoria station...Very special brick set. Five stars and a toot on that train horn!
