Issue with no wall charger given only charging cable in box that cable fits razor easily other cables don't fit no recognition given to parts for I 9000 prestige ultra finally figured out wall charger fitted to original cable given in box otherwise razor shaves smooth close motor very quiet balanced but but wow too expensive to deliver without wall charger with more information on charging

Great shaver with a 7 year warranty. Does a great job of shaving. The UV sanitizer is nice. Looks like a long battery life. Lack of comprehensive manual is a real bummer. As is the total lack of a hard(protective shield for the expensive shaver head. Unusual UBS A style, charging plug connector.

At 81 years of age, I am finally able to use an Electric Shaver! I've been a blade shaver for my entire adult life. Over the years, I've TRIED both foil and rotary electric shavers, but they struggled with my thick curly chin beard and wouldn't cut the whiskers on my neck. The media could not be loaded. [Update 5/6]I returned a defective unit and ordered a replacement. This is hands down the best electric shaver I have owned. I've used both the Braun Series 9 Pro+ and Philips S9000 Prestige. Compared to the Braun, the closeness is the same, but the i9000 is more comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin, especially under my jawline. Although the i9000 uses the same blade as the S9000 Prestige, it is more comfortable and doesn't irritate my skin like theS9000 did (I had new blades on S9000). The included accessories are a nice bonus. Highly recommended, try to get it while on sale.[Previous review] Received a defective item.The cleaning pod doesn’t work at all. I’ve uploaded a video showing the issue: no cleaning solution is dispensed during the cleaning cycle. The shaver remains completely dry before and after the cycle. Additionally, the pod indicator stays red and does not turn black as described in the manual.

It’s 2025 and the unit comes with no charging brick and a USB A to some funky input. Make it USB C already. Stop these games.Otherwise well built

Initially, at least the razor shaves as well or even better than a traditional razor.

I bought the Norelco XP9400/89 directly from Norelco because they offered a 15% off promo. Their bundle did not include the new style quick clean pod, but I already had the previous all-black version, and they are interchangeable.Pros:1 - The shaver does an amazing job giving me a close shave.2 - The shaver is quiet and has great build quality.3 - The quick clean pod is well designed and works well. At least the older all-black style one that you can easily find right now. Fortunately, the pods are interchangeable.Cons:1 - The shaver has buggy software. It doesn't impact the shave, but it impacts stuff like the blade life-left reading or the alert to change your quick clean pod cartridge.2 - The redesigned quick clean pod launch was botched. These items are simple plastic and sell for between $25-40. There's no reason that the redesigned one should be impossible to find outside of a few select shaver bundles on Amazon. The scarcity is absurd, but as previously mentioned, you can just use the all-black version. It's cheap, sold everywhere, and interchangeable.3 - The 7-year extended warranty registration is gimmicky. You need to make sure that you fill out their form just right and file away the email, your receipt, and confirm the registration in your Philips.com account. The real reason behind it is to advertise a 7-year warranty, but then only offer a 2-year to anyone who makes the slightest mistake in the registration process.Beautiful high-quality product, great end result, but product launch was not well planned.

Best razor I’ve ever used, just buy it already.
