Pimpernel placemats are classy and made to last
I love the Pimpernel placemats! They last for years, so I still have the dining room set from a couple of decades ago, and when we had a new, wood bar for the kitchen, I found these on amazon and they are wonderful. They've got style, they protect the wood, and they will probably outlast me and my husband!

Well made and very attractive.
These cork backed placemats are beautiful and I purchased 2 sets of them! I’ve also purchased different sets of eight for summer and another set of eight for Christmas.

Best deal on amazon
The price was the lowest on Amazon. At the time I bought them, they were $32.96. Used ones were selling for $40 plus shipping on eBay. These are NICE! Thicker than my Christmas Winterberry cork placemats which I love. I wanted some that were neutral for all the other holidays and this pattern is beautiful. Very neutral and pretty. I bought two sets (8) of the placements and 2 sets of the coasters (12. One placemat did have some type of adhesive ?? Sort of rubbed it in and blended it….that was the only problem. My total cost was $100 which I thought was way too high for placemats and coasters, but they cost even more everywhere else. I wanted thick cork to help protect my table from hot plates and mugs. I started getting some water/heat marks thru my tablecloths and fabric placemats. So I bit the bullet and ordered these in time for Thanksgiving. Love them! Happy, happy!

Designed place mats
The floral design is lovely and the colors are neutral so it can go with any decor. I also like a cork backed place mat since it is easy to clean.

Very well made
This is a great product because of the way it is made. Very thick so that you can put something hot on it and it won't burn your table underneath.
