My child is very intellectual
I used this as instructed for my first baby and I truly believe that the product worked as it was intended to do. My daughter was so alert when she was born. She is now three years old and all her life, people have told me that when they watch her she is so easy and chill to watch. To this day, all her babysitters let me know how intelligent she is. Attentive, emotionally intelligent, and so sweet. She is sooo well behaved even as a growing toddler. Not sure if it was my genes/my husband genes, or our environment but I’m pregnant again and plain to use my BabyPlus again! 20 years of research with this product. Totally worth it even if it’s a fluke.Beware of the counterfeits. Go to the babyplus website and read up on it so you don’t become a victim. Kind of scary.

seems to work! But battery compartment is terrible
When I was pregnant with my son, My husband read about this device in 1 of the many parenting books he was reading. At $180, it seems a little pricey for something that we can't prove works, but we wanted to give it a try. The reviews seem great too which was reassuring. Now my son is 8 months old and his development is quite advanced for his age, being able to stand and starting to take baby steps too. He also seemed to be able to self-soothe after he was born, although the 4-month sleep regression took that away briefly, but now he is sleeping slightly better again. Again, we don't know if his advanced development was due to BabyPlus, but we will take it.I recently got pregnant again so we bought another one because our friend borrowed ours. Will try to remember to report back when the new baby is born.5 stars overall because it seems to work. But...the battery setup is terrible. It takes 4 AA batteries but it's super difficult to put in and take out the batteries from the device. It doesn't help that we have to replace the batteries every 3-4 weeks. I hope the vendor redesigns the battery compartments to make it easier to replace the batteries.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IN SHAM "SCIENCE"
What an utter waste of money! I plan on returning it ASAP. I even called the customer service number and complained - the "inventor" called me back (which was nice) and left this long, detailed message proclaiming the "benefits" of and "science" behind it. He referred me to his web page, stating that there were scientific, peer reviewed articles there. I am a physician (hence I should have known better than to buy this, shame on me) and there was only one article from an actual medical publication...and it is from some obscure journal and was written by him! There is absolutely NO objective data that this is nothing but a big waste of money. While I was waiting for the package to arrive, I had visions of my daughter being accepted to Yale at age 10, playing Beethoven and Bach at the age of 3, etc :)) But when the package arrived and my husband put batteries in, I thought there was a defect with the product. There was this horrible rattle eminating from it...kind of like a very slow dentist drill. Hence what prompted my call to customer service. No, indeed it was not a defect...it's supposed to make that rattle...and the 16 "lessons" ... just speeding up the horrible drilling sound so you actually feel like you are at the dentist...getting a root canal...without novicaine. So, save your money and buy something actually useful; toilet paper, deoderant...anything would be more useful for your baby than this!

I’m a believer!
I used Babyplus for both of our girls (ages 5 and 2 currently). For the 1st I used Babyplus twice a day, for the 2nd I could only get in once a day. I do remember a few times with our 2nd that I would feel her kick more when I used it. Times when I thought the kicks weren’t right I would turn Babyplus off and things would subside. BOTH of our girls have been phenomenal sleepers since day one. I did use the Baby Wise method too but honestly, I could count on my hand how many sleepless nights I’ve had. Even to this day, both of our girls sleep in each day and we’re the ones waking them up. Also, both of our girls are pretty calm and overall easy to parent kids. They are chill and not hyper. I also gave them only 1 vaccine shot at a time too as you never know how their body will respond with mixing vaccines (with such high mercury amounts). With such a high amount of adhd, autism, allergies, etc prevalent in kids nowadays (where it wasn’t like this when I was growing up), you have to ask yourself what is causing the uprise in cases from year to year? Anywho, I do credit Babyplus to how great our girls are. Would definitely recommend to anyone contemplating.

Was skeptical but gave it a try and glad i did
Was skeptical but gave it a try and glad i did. During my pregnancy i noticed my daughter would kick to the beat every so often which was pretty cool to see. I cant say its bc of the device or some other factor but my daughter has had head and neck control within the first 24 hours of life. She also has been "crawling" since 1 week old. Its more of a scoot but she got it down at 2 months with arms and all. She was very persistent to get it down and i was very supportive of her efforts. Her vocabulary is also well advanced she started making the noises a 2 month old would at just 2 weeks. I wasnt even aware she was doing it until the doctor commented on it at her appointment. She is well advanced for her age and i really think this device helped her achieve it. Now im just trying to find the next step to keep her entertained. She doesnt get stimulated by stuff that is in her age group. Yes your kid will become more in need of stimulation and parental involvement as one reviewer stated...but i see nothing wrong with that. It can be frustrating at times but if you are looking for learning devices then you obviously want what is best for your child and this really seemed to help. I bought it from the actual company website and am glad i did bc i didnt see any of the negative reviews which may have detered me. Also her hearing is excellent so i doubt the individual that stated it affected her kid actually did. I recommend!

The delivery time was excellent, and the packaging was secure.
