I've had a 40 gallon frish water fish for over 25 years; constantly stuggling with green algae, dirty plants and algae invested items in the tank.Thi product eliminated the green algae; don't have to clean the plants, ect. every monthat the monthly tank cleaning. tank is crystal clear all the ime. wonderful product.

Amazing product, a must have for any reefer/aquarist. Works for small issues and really helps to keep the tanks bacterial bio diversity healthy and productive.

I purchased this several years ago in order to jumpstart a tank after getting back into the hobby. I've tried several other formulations and this gets my tank seeded quicker than the rest for whatever reason. I usually do nano tanks with plants, fish-in cycle, no issues (several minor water changes during first couple of weeks). Honorable mention to the Seachem product but Brightwell's bacteria works for me every time.

Great product! I still haven't figured out why it happened as I have been doing the same routine on my freshwater aquarium for the past 8 years. I woke up one morning and my tank was so cloudy I could barely see my plants in the background. Tried multiple water changes, cleaned and replaced canister filters, tried a couple of other water "clarifier solutions" but 3 weeks later, still cloudy. Started using this stuff and 3 days later, voila! Beautiful, clear water. I'm now a frequent buyer.

I’ve had great success with Brightwell products so far and decided to try this to help with my battle against nitrates and phosphates. Using every professional trick in the book and I see this helping slowly to make minor differences. My water clarity was already good so I can’t see a difference there. Hopefully by the time I’m done with the full bottle I’ll be in a good place with my NO3 & PO4!

Cleans out bacteria well

This product cycled my new tank much faster than other popular brands I’ve tried. I would definitely use it again in an emergency, whether setting up a new tank or restoring balance after a crash. Just follow the directions carefully and avoid overdosing. Highly recommended!

Fish ready in 11 days! I used a little live rock/established rock. I also used live sand but fresh saltwater. This is my first saltwater tank but I have had freshwater and it usually takes longer to cycle nitrite are the last to end. I added a clown goby and 3 hermit crabs and a few snails so far.
