Brainstream Al Dente Singing Floating Pasta Timer, Red

Took a while for this to arrive. I bought this for my husband, who can't time pasta to save himself. I'm Sicilian, properly cooked pasta is essential. You drop 'Guido,' I've named him, in a pot from the start and at about 9 minutes, music plays and yes, changes the longer in the pot. The Godfather theme is just a crack up. Yes, its accurate too. All you do is pour Guido out with the water in a strainer, (do not try to lift it out, too hot) rinse it off afterwards. The price is a bit steep but was worth it to get a laugh. And no undercooked pasta!

Works like a charm. Sound is lower than I thought but hey, it’s fun.

This was Cute but not that loud. You definitely can’t leave the room and still expect to hear it.

The product is fine for a timer and is a nice stocking stuffer. However there is not any singing. There are musical sounds that are like whistling and they are very faint.

This thing is very cool not sure how it does it but who cares capisci!

Me gusta la comida italiana, pero reconozco que el punto al dente me es algo complicado entre mi concepto y el de mi esposo. Con este mafioso al agua es una precision única y muy simpatica. La música es muy clara y de un volumen moderado así que es necesario estar cerca de la olla o sin ruidos alrededor. Gracias

Hillarious gift for my chef daughter

Es súper divertido de usar lo colocas en el agua y cuando está hirviendo hace su primer canto y vas midiendo como te gusta la pasta según la canción cada canción es diferente. Me ha ayudado bastante.
