I used this GUM Orthodontic Wax on a cavity while waiting for my root canal, and it was a game changer. The wax is soft and easy to apply, staying in place well to keep food and debris out of the cavity. Highly recommend this. I was on my 6th tray and it was the most irritating one (Invisalign ) I almost broke them while filing those sharp edges and still did not work. I would talk and could taste blood in my mouth. Watched a few you tube videos and I purchased this wax and OH MY GOODNESS. I was so happy at the comfort I got that I cried but tears of joy. I have 8 trays to go, hopefully this tray was the only one but at least I have the wax.

Using Invisalign was causing some sores where they were rubbing. This wax smoothed the areas and my mouth healed. Works as described. Glad they make something to help with this problem.

This is not clear, it has a milky white look to it.
