Works great, pain to clean overengineered
So first for the low price I paid especially you get a lot and it gets the job done. Way more powerful than the old small ninja chopper which was struggling with hummus. My uses are Hummus/Salsa/Guac for the smaller guy, and Smoothies and butternut soup for the larger. All of the above it does, including handling the frozen berries. You just need the soup ingredients to not be hot obviously (the way I make it I like to look it some more after blending anyway so I'm fine with the plastic). The lids are annoying to clean. They have crevices and it's nearly impossible to let them drip dry at an angle where all the water can escape. Those same books are really difficult to handle clean also, I had to get out the little brush that comes with some difficult to clean water bottles, or try squeezing a sponge in etc. Not a problem for runnier things but hummus and peanut butter aren't the easiest thing to wash off with just the spray gun. It's also a lot of parts. The blades are 2 parts, then the lid, then the container then the motor. And the lid has a seal ring that comes out easily and you gonna want to wash that separately once in a while. A lot of space in the dish rack, awkward shapes, lots of things to wash for just a smoothie. The 2 piece blades are cool though because the top half is made to go up and down I guess, adding a pulsating effect.I guess I really preferred the design of the old smaller one, with a flat lit and a flat-ish motor unit. Easier to clean. Also my old blender for a smoothie most of the time didn't even splash up to the lid l, made a nice vortex, so I didn't even have to clean that. This thing, it's mayhem in there, splashing all over. It's all contained, no leaks or anything.I have to give a good rating because for the $35ish I paid to basically replace my old weaker ninja chopper (which I think I bought for $30-35 ~7y ago) as well as my recently burned out blender, I got great bang for the buck and it can handle what I need to throw at it. I lost ease of cleanup. But - I've had worse cleanup, at least everything is actually cleanable and there aren't nooks where it's literally impossible and then it gets gross - this isn't that bad.I never chop ice but the instructions manual does say it's supposed to be able to make shaved ice. One other thing to note is it says never to hold it more than 15s. I find that that's more than enough for a smoothie, and hummus I do 2 pulses of 15s with a taste test in-between, and it's good to go at that point IMO. In other words this thing packs a punch and that 15s seems sufficient I'm generalI wish the blender container was made to stack on top of the chopper container, would result in a smaller footprint when storing. I'm not sure that this is really a space saver for that reason so if you're thinking small apartment one person save space, no. Affordable unit that can handle a bunch of stuff a cross between a chopper and a blender, yesAlso the chopper and blender are basically the same thing just one is bigger. I don't think there's a material difference between the 2 besides volume and that the blades are farther apart. So you could theoretically put one away and use the other if the volume of stuff you're making fits in the smaller or is enough to cover both blades in the larger. In that regard it could be a space saver on the counter. As an example, I don't make enough hummusnfor the pitcher and my smoothies don't fit in the chopper so that doesn't work for me.

More than I was expecting
I got this used for $27 delivered. I'm not sure why they only show the 16 oz container on the picture, I needed the blade for the 16 oz container and the blade alone was anywhere from 15 to $20 delivered on eBay and Amazon. I figured I could get the Amazon returned whole unit, new top new 16 oz container, and the blades for 26 bucks may as well spend it.To my surprise I got the 48 oz picture and the two blades that come with that and the tops for everything and a brand new power unit for 27 bucks when used blades cost $15 and invitation cost $20.Even at $36 if you get all that that's a deal! this is one of the best food processor / blenders available under a hundred bucks.

powerful and easy to use
Works great. I really like Ninja products for their quality. I just wanted a small blender for little batches, but this package has the added bonus of also including a larger container for almost the same price as just getting a blender with only one size... so overall, a good purchase. I did note that some people complained about the cleaning - especially the lid with all nooks and crannies. I just filled it more than halfway with hot water and drop of dishwashing soap and let it whirl itself clean, then rinsed it out; good as new!

Powerful, Versatile, and Easy-to-Use Kitchen Essential!
The Ninja QB900B Master Prep Food Processor Blender has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools! Whether I’m blending frozen fruits for smoothies, chopping vegetables, or making salsas, this blender does it all with ease. The 400-watt motor is surprisingly powerful for such a compact device, making quick work of even the toughest ingredients.I love that it comes with both a 48 oz pitcher and a 16 oz chopping bowl, offering great versatility depending on the task. I use the larger pitcher for smoothies and the smaller bowl for chopping herbs or making smaller batches of sauces. The frozen blending feature is a standout—no more struggling with ice or frozen fruit, it blends them effortlessly into smooth, creamy textures.Cleanup is a breeze, too. All the parts are dishwasher safe, which is a huge time-saver, and the overall design is sleek enough to look great on my countertop without taking up too much space. The grey color is stylish and neutral, blending well with my other kitchen appliances. If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-use food processor and blender combo, the Ninja QB900B is an excellent choice. It’s perfect for making smoothies, chopping, and blending, and I highly recommend it!

Upgrade
I bought this to replace the old version I've had for years. the original pitcher got a crack that eventually turned into a hole when the plastic fell out. I briefly considered a different type of blender but after doing some searching, for the price and what I needed it for this one was the winner. I actually only needed a new pitcher but the cost of just that was almost as much as a complete new blender. At first I wasn't sure it was going to be as good because this new version only has 2 sets of blades in the pitcher, the old one had 3, but after using it a few times I don't think it's that bad, maybe if you had a really full pitcher the 3 sets would be better, but I kept that incase I need it!I do like that the blades do come apart now. It makes cleaning much easier and sharpening the blades, when needed. aI do NOT love that they have not upgraded the lid. it's clear plastic now instead of black but it still has very deep crevasses that are impossible to clean! I think I'm going to attempt to wrap that empty space in the lid with plastic wrap, or something to keep food for going up there.
