The fact that this is a 1/4 turn on and off switch is great no worries about it failing .I used this on my 1986 bass tracker tournament v 17 boat to wire in a 24 volt trolling motor " minnkota Fortrex 80 lb thrust " I just love the fact that I have 3 different ways to turn off the motor now no accidentally draining my batteries especially on tournament daysQuality = good and solid well builtEase of installation = just drill your holes and tighten the two nuts w lock washers I used some blue lock titeFit= greatAppearance= looks good on my boat back by my motor

Used this switch for my RV disconnect switch. Easy replacement and looks to be much better quality than the original that came with the RV.

I used this as a disconnect for the battery/solar setup I created for my pop-up trailer. Easy install and worked great however 1 of the keys has already broken on me.

Great product

I currently have this switch installed for a battery cutoff in my RV. The pictures shown in the vertical side bar indicate I should have received a weatherproof cover for when the key is out, and the pictures show lock washers for the terminals. Those items were not included. I had to go buy lock washers since this is a vehicle application with vibration that could potentially loosen the connector nuts over time. The switch works but it is annoying when you don't get what is pictured in the product description.Update: 8 months later. I noticed I was getting intermittent and low battery voltage when this switch was on and I was drawing current. The switch feels very warm; almost too hot to hold. I checked the connection nuts and they are tight. I believe the switch is bad and making intermittent connection when turned on. I feel this is a potential fire hazard and I am removing the switch. I would not recommend this product further.Later update: I took the switch apart because it totally failed (had to drill rivets out). I found the internal contacts to be burned and pitted, explaining why it got so warm and eventually failed. See the picture.
