The engraving is very clean and sharp. My 4 year old wanted to learn the names of all the bones in her body so I started teaching her with a silly song I made up and to my shock and awe, she not only reminded me we needed to practice it daily, SHE KNOWS THEM ALL NOW! So, I bought her this as a reward and she loves it. I love it. It's small but really cool and as she is an only child locked in our house during this pandemic, she even talks to her friend, "skeleton" occasionally. If you have a tiny anatomy lover or a friend taking anatomy, I definitely think this fun little light can entertain just about any age group and be a cool piece for a desk. It would make a good little nightlight for a dorm room too. We keep ours in the living room but once we move my daughter to her bigger room, i anticipate putting it in there for her to use as a nightlight.

Gift for someone who worked in imaging--this light-up skeleton was a hit. Deep color to changing light. Very cool bones! Description of bones is accurate too.
