great coffee
Absolutely great coffee, full of flavour. I could taste the strength but I didn't find it bitter. The caffeine hit is just what I need when I'm lagging mid-morning, (not a morning person)

High caffeine, low acid
For those saying their coffee wasn't "strong enough" - you've been subjected to the over toasted dark roasts... Devil's Roast is a STRONG (high caffeine) light roast for maximum donkey kick without the overcooked, acid roasts commonly associated with arabica blended coffee.This is very good stuff. Enjoy as an espresso that doesn't make your teeth curl or a full cup americano that wont make you regret brewing it.

Not just about the caffeine, smooth taste too.
I bought this on a whim when recommended by a colleague on a particularly tiring day! I'd resigned to the fact it may be powerful but bitter, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's difficult to judge but it is certainly decently caffinated, but more importantly the flavour is very good, a bit of chocolate, no bitterness or unpleasant aftertaste, not 5 stars simply because you get what you pay for an there's better but more expensive coffees out there, but absolutely good enough for a daily grind.

Good , but no Jamaican Blue Mountain ! now THAT has Caffeine ( if you buy the proper gear & not some rip off brand )
