Can't beat this!!
We've had our Nomi for about a month and a half and I wanted to wait to write this review until we had used it for a while so I could give my honest opinion about it. And, we seriously couldn't be more happy with it! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous and complements the style of our home, our daughter loves it because she can so easily get up on it and push herself away from the table if she needs to (thanks to the little wheels on the back "legs" of the chair). It is also so light (yet sturdy), so we can easily move it between our dining room and patio table when we want to eat outside. We can easily carry it with one hand which we could never do with our Stokke Tripp Trapp.I also love that it's so easy to adjust the seat and footrest, and that it's so comfortable to sit on even for adults. When we have another kid we will definitely buy the newborn bouncer attachment - this was actually one of the reasons we wanted the Nomi chair to begin with. I think that will be so much better than a floor bouncer so the baby can better see what's going on when we have dinners, doing dishes, or whatever! I'd imagine it's nice too if you have pets so you don't have to worry about them getting too close to your baby. All in all, we are so so pleased with this high chair and I recommend it to everyone - it is definitely worth the splurge!!

Well designed and sturdy
A bit of a challenge to put together, as you really need an extra pair of hands to hold the base together as you tighten the screws, but very easy to figure out what goes where. All tools were included. Allen wrenches are not the easiest to work with but they do the job. The chair itself seems very sturdy and well-made, and should last for many years. It took me (by myself) about a half hour to assemble, once I was able to brace the base against something so the screws would tighten properly. There is a video available to help with assembly. Happy with this chair. It allows the child to sit right at the table, and not have to use a tray, and sit apart, as in a regular high chair. There is a movable foot rest, which slides up and down and is great for the child. It is all highly adjustable.

Safety Hazard and difficult to use
**UPDATED REVIEW**I really really really wanted to love this high chair as you can see from my initial review. However, after using the high chair consistently I have no choice but to return the chair and update my review. This chair is a huge SAFETY HAZARD. The harness is next to impossible to correctly buckle together and when you think you’ve got it after fumbling around with it for 10 minutes with a screaming hungry baby it the chair - it all falls apart!! My baby nearly fell out of this chair. It is a great looking high chair and easy to clean. I don’t understand why this safety hazard has been so overlooked.Great high chair. My 1 year old sits in it comfortably. My only complaint is that the buckle is on the difficult side to use. I also wish the fabric on the buckle was black not a light color where you can see all the stains.

Better than its predecessor
I’m from Europe and lots of people over there have the Tripp Trapp high chair, I actually grew up using one 30 years ago and it still looks exactly the same! So when I got pregnant my first thought was to get a Tripp Trapp. Well, that was before a friend of mine told me about Nomi. It’s designed by the same seating designer but it’s new and improved. I love that you can adjust the foot rest and seat to any height without any tools—makes it so much easier than having to get out tools to loosen up 6-8 screws to adjust a Tripp Trapp! And it’s surprisingly lightweight—the Tripp Trapp is really heavy and bulky. I also love that you can just wipe the Nomi clean--there are no crevices that trap food. I was an au pair for a family that had a Tripp Trapp and I remember it was a pain in the butt to clean. The open design on Nomi and the waterfall edges are a big improvement in comfort and support for proper seating for my baby. I also used the Nomi Baby attachment for the first 6 months and it was perfect to have the baby right up at the table with us, so much better and nicer than a bouncer on the floor. Haha…I just went on and on but obviously I just love Nomi and so glad this was created at the perfect time for me having children!

Not as great as I thought.
The tray it’s not good. And doesn’t have working wheels (so I’m not sure why it has hidden ones). It has a beautiful design and it’s practical to clean up. It’s not easy at all to put in and out my chubby baby. More for skinny kids

Very cute
The media could not be loaded. Super cute chair and easy to put together although the directions were similar to that ok ikea… no words just pictures. Took about 30 minutes to assemble only because i put the back upside down and it took me a little while to get it off and out back on correctly. When I opened the box, it looked like the may have been a return. Everything was just thrown in the box, the screws loose and torn packaging. Thankfully everything we needed was in that box. This is the only reason I deducted a star. Also, I thought the chair would be the height of our island but it’s much shorter but he will sit comfortably at the dining table with us. Overall I’m happy with the purchase.

Easy to clean and baby is comfy
This chair is so easy to clean and baby is very happy eating in it. We have a different chair from an older child but switched to this and everyone is happier. Baby will sit and eat for longer and is positioned properly (leaning forward, feet on foot rest). It has a wide footprint to keep it sturdy but it is very low-profile and doesn’t add a lot of visual clutter like other high chairs. I do not have a tray and haven’t missed it yet.
