Beefy lock
Bloody hefty bit of kit, my only genuine worry now is loosing the keys somewhere, but at least they've provided three keys for it.Time will tell how good it is with regards to the weather, because I've gone through a few padlocks that just couldn't cope with our lovely british winters.

Great product but make sure you measure up!
This is a heavy duty lock and fits the description except i didn't look at the width so doesn't fit into my outside Keter lock up. I will keep it to use elsewhere so money not wasted

Yale. Not the brand it used to be
Waited several months to write this review as I wanted to be as fair as possible.Bought to fit on a car security bollard.. Padlock failed after only 6 weeks. Seized up and took a long time to undo. Couldn’t return to seller, couldn’t return to Amazon. Had to contact Yale directly. Replacement sent within a week and postage paid to return faulty item. Now and again the replacement padlock would be a struggle to lock unlock.Used wd40 which did make an improvement but I was always fearful of it failing again so had to keep reapplying wd40 every other week. Well come this recent cold spell and it took me 15 minutes to get it undone..late for work and now it’s gone in the bin. Avoid.. Yale are not the quality manufacturer I had been brought up to trust and rely on.not weatherproof.not value for money.not recommended

Key broke inside after 8 months but replaced fairly promptly by Yale
I used it to secure a garage door. At first I've found it nice and heavy and it felt like good quality. Unfortunately after only 8 months and very little use, the key broke inside the lock. I didn't even apply any force to open it, it just snapped. I have contacted customer support, we'll see what they say.Update 17/03/23 It took a few days for Yales customer service to reply, but they are sending me a new one free of charge. So good cusotmer service

Best for outdoors
Bought this almost 4 years ago and waited this long to review.. This padlock has been left outdoor on my shed and it gets rained on and still works.. Once in a while I add the good old WD40 to make it smoother. The build quality is good and a good value for money.
