Use it right!
I stopped writing reviews but can't resist here. Some of the poor reviews are written by people who don't know about coconuts and how to use these tools. The T-shaped knife is for jabbing into soft GREEN coconuts in order to make a hole and pour out the water. You jab it through the soft husk, give it a twist and it makes a hole to drink the water. You can't use this for dried hard shelled coconuts like those commonly bought in Northern supermarkets. It will not stab into the hard shell. The curved knife is for getting the meat out of those DRIED coconuts commonly found in Northern supermarkets. First you need to bang the coconut on the cement ground or wack it with the back of a heavy knife, meat clever or machete to crack it all around. Then open it into two halfs. You can then use the curved knife to poke between the shell and meat to get the meat out. It's easier if you leave the open coconuts in the sun to dry for a couple of days.If you use these tools right they work very well.

How to open and eat coconuts safely?
I got these items cause I wanted to try cutting them without cutting myself I have cut myself twice on a two occasions but what trips me up is I tried the knife and tried cutting it but I can see it is gonna but me so I need to see how it is actually done? My left hand is my main hand so I need to quit hurting myself. I thought with something like coconut tools I won’t cut myself. It is kot as easy as sliding. A blade into the meat and then twist around until the coconut is free from the hard shell. I think the other one is meant for young green coconuts but Idk where they sell those? Not in grocery stores only the brown nuts are sold in stores mostly. I will learn the proper way and keep trying.

Delighted
Worked way better than I thought it would. By adding these tools I can process around 35 coconuts in 90 minutes. Very well built.

Great tool
Nice design, easy to use tool in getting out coconut meat in mature coconuts. The other tool is easy to use on green coconuts to make a cork type plug to pull out & drain green coconut water.
