Oral-B Pro 1000 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush, Black

This toothbrush is so much nicer than my old Oral-B! My old brush had to be all of 15 years old. I couldn't travel with it because the battery wouldn't last for more than 1 brushing session at a time. I'd brush in the am, charge all day and be barely charged to brush at night. I couldn't share the base with my husband because there wasn't enough time between charges for us both to use it!If this new brush lasts anywhere nearly as long as my old one, I'll be ecstatic! I looked at the higher models and the lower end units, and I think this Pro 1000 has everything that is needed for the best price. Oral-B has the best priced replacement heads, a variety of heads to fit different needs, and has a built in 2 minute timer. That 2 minute timer is so helpful. I used to bring a watch into the bathroom every time I'd brush just to be sure I was brushing long enough. The timer on the brush works so much better, no more staring at a watch! It buzzes every 30 seconds to tell you to move on to the next section, and after 2 minutes, it does a longer buzz. What I really like is while it tells you your 2 minutes is up, it keeps working so you don't have to restart to brush any spot that needs more.I charged the brush fully, and it lasted a full week with twice a day brushing on that single charge. I didn't want it to die, so I recharged after 1 week, so I don't know how long it will last, but I do know at least for 1 week at full strength.This brush also has a pressure sensor, but I've never been able to trigger it. I guess I'm brushing with the proper pressure. It's a good feature to have if that's something you have an issue with. What this brush doesn't have is all of the crazy extras. Bluetooth? UV Lights? Travel case? Thanks, but no thanks. I just want clean teeth.When I purchased, black was the cheapest. Now it's white. Unless you are tied to a color to match your bathroom, check the different colors to find the best price. However, if you can keep the brush in an enclosed area, that's the best. I saw a video as a kid of what mists into the air when a toilet is flushed. Sufficed to say MANY years later, I won't flush unless the lid is closed, and my toothbrush NEVER sits out. Youtube has a Sky 1 video demonstrating this. Watch it. Actually, don't, just take my word for it. Close the seat, and keep the toothbrush put away!

So happy that I purchased this. I never believed in electronic toothbrushes and felt they were just fancy purchases but honestly, my teeth have never felt cleaner. I went back to normal toothbrushes for a week and it was not the same. I will continue on purchasing for sure! The settings on this toothbrush are quite nice, in case you do not wish to brush so intensely, there's a lower setting for that which helped initially as I was not used to the harshness.

Just bought a replacement of the same model, my original one lasted for 13 years before the battery finally gave out. Works great, and the charger base is still the same as my original. The charger is easy to clean.The new model does cycle between high/med/low/off when you press the button. I kind of wish it didn't do that; the old one was just one button to turn off. Otherwise, its pretty great and the replacement heads are easy to find everywhere.

Good overall. Teeth are cleaner than they have ever been. Wish I had gone electric years ago. Having a hard time finding brush heads that aren't third party knock offs. Not sure if Oral B stopped supporting this model or what. And if you do find them, they are expensive.

I didn’t expect much, but this toothbrush really changed my routine. My teeth feel smoother and cleaner, and the 2-minute timer keeps me consistent. It’s a little loud, but the results make it worth it.

toothbrush quit working just after return window closed. It just stopped working while I was brushing my teeth. Stopped dead!Correction: My wife had not remembered to plug in the charger. Tooth brush is working well, like it should.

Okay, this Oral-B electric toothbrush might’ve just thrown a rave in my mouth. First brush and I’m like, “Did I accidentally book a cleaning appointment?” The little round brush head had my gums throwing confetti; I didn’t even want to stop brushing, it was like a spa day for my teeth.I’ve unlocked a new level of brushing obsession. Seriously, my old manual brush is sitting in the corner, sobbing, jealous that it didn’t get picked. So, why have I waited this long to join the electric brush club? Someone send help (or more toothpaste).Five gleaming stars because, wow, I now actually look forward to brushing. And if that doesn’t scream “adulting win,” I don’t know what does.
