can i use this on engineered wood floors (non absorbent wood floors) that have a finish baked into them from the factory?

No, unfortunately. It is not advisable to use on marble, natural stone or wood floors.

Question 2

Will this take wax off my laminate flooring? I was not suppose to wax this laminate.

I bought this to strip thick acrylic floor polish called I-shine off vinyl tiles, and it did not work well at all for that.  I wished someone would have told me to stay away from big block stores and go to a local industrial cleaning supply house, which I did.  Saved money and a lot of energy and a lot of time.  Lesson learned, "who knows more about products than the people that use said products for a living."  And that goes for most everything related.  We have become brainwashed by DIY into thinking we can save a few dollars by doing it ourselves, or buying this or that magical product.  And the manufacturers are well aware of this fact, diluting products from the original industrial suppliers and charging twice as much.  Add your time, money, aggravation and end results up on a project, you loose more than just the time.

Can I use this on wood floors that have a few coats of floor renew on them?
