Nice deep red color, if you use little will come out as a nice rosy pink. It’s a bit grainy, but still works well for making lip balms. No smell or flavor to it.

I can feel the difference already, actually I am here right now to order more. Sorry about 3 stars in taste, I never did like the taste, but that is not what I bought it for.

I used it to dye Easter egg, I mixed it with onions skin and if worked

I saw some of the powder escape from the bag and realized the plastic window part of the bag has a slight slit/cut which I don’t know if that was accidental or not but I managed to rescue the rest in a ziploc bag to reassure.

Used it for food coloring on 'Char Su' BBQ Pork worked beautifully giving a deep red color.

I tried this on my gourmet popcorn and it came out a rust color.

It may have been just this particular bag, but most of the beet root powder I received is unusable. I bought it to sift into homemade baked goods and pasta, but the bag has so many hard, peppble-like clumps, that it's impossible to use.
