8Bitdo Sn30 2.4G Wireless Gamepad for Original SNES/Sfc (Transparent Edition)

I am a really big fan of this controller. It feels nearly identical to an OEM SNES controller but it's new and it's wireless. It's really easy to use, you just plug the receiver into your Super Nintendo and press the start button on the controller. Mine paired up right away with no issues. The console recognizes it exactly as if it were an original controller. Button layout is the same and everything. I love the throwback look of the translucent plastic, I hope 8Bitdo eventually makes it in more colors as well.This uses a 2.4GHz wireless connection, which has almost no input delay. I had tried 8Bitdo's Bluetooth SNES controllers before, and there was a slightly noticeable delay, and pairing was sometimes challenging. With this, both of those issues are resolved. The other problem with their Bluetooth version was for some reason the d-pad didn't feel quite right, it was kind of mushy and wouldn't always feel right when trying to change directions quickly like in Street Fighter 2 or making corners in Super Bomberman. As far as I can tell, this revision has solved those issues as well, so the eliminated input lag and the better d-pad means the inputs feel precise like they should.My only very minor gripe is that these recharge via micro-USB. I wish it was USB-C to be consistent with most of my other devices, however it works and feels so good that I can deal with that, because it's breathed new life into my SNES collection now that I can enjoy it without running cords all the way from my TV to my couch.

I ended up buying two to give my super nintendo a modern upgrade. I have finished several games now and they work great. Authentic feel and no lag that I can tell.

Comfortable, very little lag. Excellent wireless controller for your SNES or Analogue console. It is solidly made and has quite a long battery life between charges. It's the same shape as a standard SNES controller, so it will feel right at home for veteran SNES players.

Really good device! Starts right up, no problem with connection. Wish I had it in 96 when I bought my SNES. No complaints whatsoever!

Been waiting for a SNES wireless for along time. Im so glad i waited until now to get the latest version. They look and feel amazing. Might get another one.

The controller worked great out of the box, charged up via USB C and it worked with my console on the first boot up. The only thing that bothers me about this controller are the X and Y buttons are not concave like the original SNES controllers - all the buttons are convex. The photos are difficult to tell and I thought they would have been concave but they were not. I got over it since the performance is as good as wired, but buyer be made aware!

Bought one of these to replace the old second hand SNES controllers I was using. The only noticeable differences right away is a very slight difference in weight, and it has convex buttons like on the Super Famicom. The receiver worked with no problems. I don't have any fancy way of testing lag, but I used it to play Donkey Kong Country on a CRT and couldn't notice any.Seeing as I've only had the controller a couple hours, I haven't been able to do any sort of stress testing, but I've been buying 8bitdo controllers for years and never had any problems with durability or battery life.
