Huge, delicious fruit. Worth the price.
I fell in love with passion fruit at a breakfast buffet in Sydney AU. At the time, I didn't appreciate their look, but I thought I'd be brave and try one and then went back and took all of them off the fruit tray. Ever since then, I've been searching for passion fruit at home. The few times I do find them, they cost $3-4 a piece. I buy them anyway. I even bought a vine that I babied for two years, watching it take over every other plant in reach while only giving up four fruit in two years (it died when I tried to prune it back -- apparently passion fruit vines like to roam free). When I saw I could get them through Amazon (Tropical), I figured I'd give it a try despite the reviews complaining about the fruits' freshness, etc. I got my delivery the other day (mine weren't packed with the vines, just wadded up paper) and the only thing that would make me happier is if they weren't so expensive. I got only eight fruit -- but they are HUGE -- easily twice the size of any I've seen before. And I got 2 lbs as advertised. I let them get a little wrinkly and then just cut them in half and eat the flesh and seeds with a spoon. So far I've only eaten one, and it was delicious, exactly what I've been craving. Yes, they're definitely a luxury, but I will be ordering again, at least every once in awhile.

Not so fresh.
Love these fruits. About 1/2 of them looked old.

Exactly what I hoped for
Are you skeptical about buying passionfruit online? I was. But I’ve purchased from this company previously, and tried them again when I had a recent passionfruit craving, AND to treat myself for my bday. I am very pleased with the amount and quality...exactly like the fruit I bought and enjoyed when I lived on St. Croix in the VI. Per fruit, at my local grocery store (the fancy one), each fruit can be $3 per IF they are in at all, which is a rare occurrence. But these were delivered quickly and exactly ripened, with just enough wrinkles. Great buy!

Quick delivery, perfect fruit
We ordered the 2-lb box of passion fruit from Jiro's Garden on the Friday before MLK weekend. It was shipped the Tuesday after MLK day and we received it two days later. So the delivery was fast and reliable. We would likely have gotten it within 3 days if we hadn't ordered over a holiday weekend. It's so hard to know when passion fruit is good, so we really commend the company for only sending perfect fruit. Every single one was fresh and juicy when we used them a few days after they arrived. They were all a little tart, though, and if we had time, we would have let them ripen a bit longer. The price made it seem like a splurge, but we searched high and low and could not find passion fruit in Western Washington. If you need them for a recipe, we got about 270 grams of pulp (after extracting the seeds) using all but one of the fruits.

Empty and shriveled
Almost all of the passionfruit in the box were shriveled and empty, one had clearly gone bad. Huge waste of money, it was like buying someone's trash.

It is OK - tasty but a little pricey
Product tasted good - fresh fruit. Got within the timeframe promised. Good service. I was scared when I first opened it, though (I removed the padding then took a picture). But, the product is fresh. Kind of expensive for what you get. I received 1.7 lbs of fruit. Some were more filled with the good filling in it than others. But, it’s nature. :)

Great Seller, Great Product, Just Received Shipment And Came Back To Buy More.
My husband and I have been searching and searching for fresh passion fruit ever since we took a vacation to DR and became absolutely addicted to it! I just bought this product for his birthday and we could not be more pleased. The fruit arrived on the first day of the 6-day delivery window, it was in perfect condition - the box was a little beat up so I was worried but they packaged it really well (see picture), the quantity was great (it is two pounds of fruit - about 19 passion fruit in our shipment), and I actually just came back on here to buy more but decided to write a review first. I absolutely recommend this seller and this product. Yummy!

Don't waste your money on these
They weren't ripe so they were sour not sweet like they should have been and never ripened even after waiting 3 weeks!! I lived in Australia for a year and used to eat them all the time, so I know how they should have tasted. I was very disappointed that I wasted almost $50 on them.
