it takes a while to boil water, and automatic reboil when the water cools down but it keeps it warm as long as the power is on. when it is not plugged in, it keeps the water warm for about 2-3 hours during winter. it is very convenient with the dispensing system. good quality. it feels expensive but with the quality, it is worth it.

I recently purchased the KENT Hot Pot Auto Electric Kettle with Water Dispenser, and I must say it has been a thoroughly disappointing experience. From the very beginning, it failed to live up to my expectations, leaving me frustrated and regretful of my purchase.First and foremost, the build quality is subpar. The kettle feels flimsy, and the plastic used in its construction seems cheap and easily breakable. I had concerns about its durability right out of the box, and unfortunately, those concerns were not unfounded.The water dispenser feature, which initially sounded like a convenient addition, turned out to be more of a hassle than a benefit. It dispenses water at an excruciatingly slow pace, making it impractical for those who need a quick cup of hot water. Waiting for the dispenser to do its job felt like watching paint dry.Furthermore, the heating element takes an eternity to bring water to a boil. I found myself twiddling my thumbs, waiting impatiently as minutes passed by. This defeats the purpose of having an electric kettle, as one of the primary reasons for choosing such a device is the speed and efficiency it should offer.To add insult to injury, the water temperature control is inconsistent at best. It either boils the water excessively or fails to reach the desired temperature, making it unreliable for various uses such as brewing tea or preparing instant noodles.Lastly, the cleaning process is unnecessarily complicated. Taking the device apart for thorough cleaning requires a level of effort that is simply not justified by the overall performance.In conclusion, the KENT Hot Pot Auto Electric Kettle with Water Dispenser has proven to be a regrettable purchase. The lackluster build quality, slow water dispensing, inefficient heating, temperature control issues, and complicated cleaning process make this product a considerable letdown. I would strongly advise potential buyers to explore other options on the market before investing in this disappointing kettle.

The media could not be loaded. The Kent dispenser doesn’t have on-off provisions, we have to switch on and switch off the system from main switch/supply point. Actually water dispensing is possible only when the system is on but if it is on then it will be on boiling mode whereas we don’t want to to boil it again to save energy. Also when it is on the system will be either on boiling mode or on keep warming mode and salt deposition will happen which is not easy to clean. Simple electric kettle casting around INR 400-500, is having the facility to get the kettle on or off without switching off the main switch/supply point. So simple electric kettle is more convenient to handle.

It's better than a kettle as it keeps water hot. Very much value for money, and a must buy, the quality is good.

I have bought a countless number of kettles, toasters and this time is this HotPot Kettle as I have 2 kids and I needed hot water or warm water for the formula milk or my coffee and various other uses. However Kent is only a Flashy name but underneath it's a sub standard company and I feel sorry why i ordered their products as all of their products for damaged or stopped working after a year or 1.5 max .. this HotPot machine stopped working exactly on 13th month and I went to service center in udyog vihar Gurgaon.. they simply denied that they don't have parts of this .. in other words they were saying ur money is waste don't waste our time and take ur product back. They didn't have a courtesy to say sorry it's their fault that they make products but they don't have their spare parts to avoid total loss for their customers! I stopped buying Kent since then and I'm happy with so many other renowned brands selling at the same price. Keeping Hema Malini's photo for their branding doens't give any assurity of their product life and quality.

This item has two buttons one is heating and one is keeping warm.generally after boiling and when the water is lukewarm warm you can not fill the water bottle without warming button .It should have heater off button so that bottle can be filled by pressing the butten on room temperature.

It is useful for having hot boiled water at any time. Easy to use.
