This tea arrived fresh and is of excellent quality! Has a wonderful taste, too, much like a mild black tea. I like to mix it with loose leaf chamomile of the same brand. Will be buying again!

Firstly it's fresh, smells fresh, it's a huge bag, it tastes great but more importantly it takes my husband's anxiety away and helps him sleep. I also read a review here that I'm so greatful for which explains that while bananas have serotonin in them their are high levels of serotonin locked in banana skin's. After researching it I realized that the medicinal qualities in banana skins turn into high amounts of serotonin through the digestion process so I've added that to his tea. I just cut the ends off one banana and chop up the peel before adding it to the tea and 16 Oz of boiling water for two doses steeping it for atleast 20 minutes as recommended. I've also made a lemon balm tincture with 80proof vodka which is a way of getting a concentrated version. Just two droppers full each dropper being about 18 drops. It definitely does the trick especially if you don't like tea or need quick results. I'm so greatful for this tea and with the added serotonin because if you've weaned off antidepressants then one is more then likely serotonin deficient. All antidepressants are uptake inhibitors and do cause brain damage with longterm use causing brain fog or cognitive function issues. I am not a doctor but I do know that modern medicine doctors love to push antidepressants for mild depression symptoms when they are to do no harm as their first rule. Well all types of mood disorder and antidepressant medications are uptake inhibitors and in my opinion should only be given in the worst case scenario. They kill the spirit and if used longterm cause cognitive function ailments and disrupt the brains natural process in balancing important hormones ect... do your research but look further then the first thing that pop's up on Google.
