We use these to hang on cabinet doors in our small bathrooms. It saves on floor space and if you have it on the inside of the cabinet, you can leave the lid open for even easier access.

One fit perfectly in bath vanity. I hung one over a cabinet door near the small L shape "kitchen". It's not in the way while trying to cook, but it's nearby in a very handy location for disposal of trash while cooking & keeping the limited workspace clear. These work great and I like being able to open from either direction. Plastic grocery bags fit perfectly for liners. The lid mechanism fits right over, holding the bag in place. The 3rd one will hang inside a cabinet near the entry.So nice having proper & convenient trash recepticles now.

One of them broke after 1st use. Otherwise compact and easy to clean.

Cheap and a pain in the rear! 1. The lid does not seal. It simply rests on the trash can. 2. The little tab for opening and closing the lid isn't explained ANYWHERE in the directions, so I had to refer back here to there pictures. A. That is the STUPIDEST design for opening a trashcan I've ever seen. B. The hole is too small to get the tab in the way it's supposed to be, so I can't even make the stupidest design for opening a trashcan work lol. Buy a different brand. There's a bunch of similar ones available on Amazon.Functions poorly because there's no seal. Definitely isn't easy to use because I can't even get it put together all the way. Build quality is cheap but would be fine if the design want dumb.

I’m not sure about composting but these are nice trash containers and now I keep food waste and other bio/organic icky stuff out of my main trash can. I won’t be throwing out a bigger trash bag just to make sure it won’t smell.These have the option to hang anywhere. Over a cabinet or drawers or they come with a quality adhesive part you can stick to a wall and it hangs very sturdy.They are nice to have and go just about anywhere.

Spend your money elsewhere. These are thin plastic (two arrived bent out of shape). The lids are a major pain to put on and they don't fit very well. The hinge mechanism on the lid is sloppy and cheap feeling.
