I’ve been using other VH Nutrition supplements for several months now & they’ve proven to be essential for my daily regimen. This new gotu kola has been another one I’ll definitely be adding to my essentials list. I’ve been very happy with the results so far in these first several weeks of taking the gotu kola daily.

Not lab tested or anything.Herbs like this are hard to review for efficacy because their effects, if any, are typically minor compared to any equivalent medication.In general, my understanding is that this herb works on the same receptors that medications which help me also work providing me with natural options...though at 1/250th the strength (GABA-A subunit a, a CNS depressant or generally calming effect).I think this product is great for people without behavioral health illness and who just need a little stress or anxiety relief from time to time.Pros: No stomach upset when taken with food. Without food, a bit of dry nausea.It's also supposed to help with "overall wellbeing" which is too wide a net for me to buy into or review. Perhaps it does indeed provide other benefits to which I cannot speak.

Just got a bottle of this supplement and started taking it the next day. It’s too early to tell if it’s helping or not, but no adverse effects (like I had with a previous one).

I'm about to give up on supplements. I feel like I've tried them all & I can add Gotu Kola to the list now. I didn't notice any difference while taking these whatsoever. I get that they seem to work for others & that's fantastic, but I'm not them & I can't judge from that perspective. For me, nothing. They were easy to swallow though so I guess they're okay from that perspective. The price is cheap enough to warrant taking a shot at them too I suppose, if you're so inclined. I won't mess with them again though, personally.

I got this because this is an herbal extract that I use extensively and have been doing so well over 5 years if not 10. This herb has been used medicinally for hundreds and hundreds of years supposedly. It has many names and the one the seller mentions "Pennywort" is new to me. The most common names I see with it is 'Cica' and also 'Herb of Longevity' and 'Frog Feet Plant'. What first got my attention to it is an article about 10 years ago that noted in a study that when Gotu Kola was added to Vitamin K2 and French Maritime Bark Pycnogenol the scientist were achieving extremely impressive results with their studies with arterial plaque. In some studies it was claimed that plaque scores were even reversed supposedly. So that impressed me enough to incorporate it in my daily regimen. And a wonderful side effect I got that was totally unexpected was due to this Gotu Kola no doubt. I can't say much other than I highly advise looking up how circulation effects spider and varicose veins.Now speaking of Circulation which is extremely important for healthy skin and the scalp to get rich oxygen delivered to them, Gotu Kola comes into play here. It works much like French Maritime Bark Pycnogenol does. What got my attention to this was I started noticing my favorite skin care brands were incorporating this Gotu Kola into their products. It is very rich in antioxidants and in my personal use it just appears my skin loves this stuff. Each morning I use a half mixture of grape seed oil and half pure liquid Gotu Kola as a face cleanser and moisturizer. So yeahh inside and out and I am utilizing Gotu Kola to do its thing and I am very very happy with the results I am getting !Now I never give a supplement five stars unless it is third party lab tested. But with herbal extracts I find it to be rare to see them lab tested. And actually there are just a handful of companies I am aware of that sell Gotu Kola oral supplements and only one of them lab test theirs. But do notice this is from a small company which I love to support. And notice the price,,,,,,,, as I was very 'Wow' about that ! I am use to paying three times that and more for Gotu Kola. I like my dosage to be around 700 mgs and this is 650 mgs per cap which is close enough IMO. This is 60 caps so these will last me a while. The seller states these may support memory and cognitive function. I am not aware of that but great news and I really hope it's true. I never notice any thing when I take these.
