Guys! I went to the dark side in September from blonde, I loved the transition from blonde. However I just really was tired of paying salon price to refresh my hair. I started looking into glossing and demi/semi hair dye. I took a chance on this one in the brown black color. The picture of me in the graphic sweatshirt was the first time I tried this product, the results were amazing. I have purchased two times since. I will say that you have to use the product sparingly and it can be a learning process to cover your whole head in the dye. It fades out very nicely and doesn’t look patchy or faded. The photo where I’m in the hat is how it looks 2 months after dyeing. The last photo was taken today after using the product two days ago. I truly love the way this product is so simple and lasts. I will keep using this as long as I want to stay dark.

I was buying Revlon Color Silk Beautiful Color which is permanent dye. My hair is looking a bit fried and broken around my face. I decided to try Revlon Tone+Gloss+Care a demi-permanent. It is suppose to wash out after 28 washes. I usually purchased dark brown but decided to go with med brown. The demi dye left my hair darker, too dark, which is odd being a med brown. Maybe it to makeup for the gradual washout. The Gloss+Care was pretty worthless. Two small packages of product you put on after dyeing. The only thing they did was to make my scalp itch with a few little bumps. I can't say how long it will last as I only have washed once. It looked better after that first wash, got rid of the heavy oil conditioner/care stuff. Color held. Below is some AI research that I did that others might find useful. i used this hair color. my hair turned out beautiful. it wasnt damaged or dried out by this product. it has a good price i plan to repurchase it. it gives professional results.

I was hoping to add a bit of shine to my hair. I did get a bit of a shine out of this. Not very noticeable. The unfortunate part was some hair loss.

This product is awesome if you have the right expectations! My salon blonde balayage (on light brunette roots) was several months grown out & costs $250. This $5 product was able to even out my overall color and blend the harsh root/highlight contrast at the top. See collage for shades & timestamps.Dark Blonde was a good natural match. I repurchased in Light Golden Brown for a slightly darker/warmer tone and probably prefer the first but both are good. As with other box dyes, individual results vary and you have to be ok with a range of final looks. It did not cause any damage.USE: I tried to do a very thorough job saturating all hair and left it in slightly longer than instructed, for 30 minutes. The bottle surprised me and one was enough to cover my long, medium thickness hair.CONS: It does not cover grays completely and I have a handful but it blended the majority of them. It does not last 28 washes since I had noticeable fading around 8 weeks (washing hair weekly.) However, both are not dealbreakers for me given my intentions of using this product.In my opinion this is worth a try if you’re on a budget! It’s ideal for freshening up/evening out tone and blending grown out color. Plus, it’s low risk since it’s semipermanent. I’ll reuse :)
