It is for dry / to very dry skin, but also sensitive or sensitised. And although it is safe to use on the face, I specifically bought it for my body. I was experiencing some uncomfortable itchiness (possibly caused by laundry detergent??), but as soon as I applied this cream the itchiness disappeared. And with that I got moisturised skin too. It absorbes quickly despite the rich and nourishing texture. I even tried it on my face after retinal application and it worked very well. No greasiness,no stickiness, good occlusivity to prevent transepidermal water loss, but the consistency is not that of a petroleum jelly one.Huge tub, excellent ingredients, good value for money. Will definitely be a repurchase one I get through the big, generous tub.

It's good especially when u have dry skin. It's good even under makeup. I like it. It's make my face fresh, smooth and shiny. It's good size

Well as I looked at all the reviews about this cream I had to try this out for myself.And I was not disappointed. I have what you could call not very good looking legs, mostly because they have been bruised so many times.I put this cream on for a couple of days and my husband said that my legs don't look as dark.I also used this on sun burnt skin works with that too.My skin is so silky smooth now.I used to have dry, flaky skin. Not anymore I don't.This is a large tub of cream, not greasy it won't ruin your clothes or bedding. Can be used daily.Wish I bought this sooner.

I really wanted to love this for my face, but personally I find it way too thick and heavy for daily facial use. (But would be great for someone with dry skin, which who this is aimed for). That said, it’s fantastic as a body cream, especially on dry hands and elbows.I live in a hard water area and my hands often feel dry and tight after washing. I’ve been using this for just a few days and already notice a real difference, skin feels softer and more hydrated without that greasy residue some thick creams leave behind.If you’re looking for a rich, effective hand or body cream, this works beautifully. Just not the best match for oily or combo facial skin in my experience.

I try other products but always come back to this. It is not only great value for money but my skin is visibly better since using it. It lathers up well and you feel it cleansing your face as you use it. Leaves you skin feeling smooth and looking refreshed and bright

I have very dry skin on my hands, have tried countless creams like E45, Aveeno & Cocoa butter cream but none of them moisturised my skin very much. This cream by CeraVe is fantastic! I use it twice daily and it has reduced my dry skin on my hands by 70%! You have to apply quite a bit but its well worth it. Does not come with a seal although it ideally should. Appearance is the same as any other cream, white and creamy texture. Not sticky and no scent which is good. Definitely recommend to anyone with dry skin. Doesn’t leave your hands greasy which i also admire unlike other products

I bought a 16oz tub of this in November 2023 and I still have about a quarter left. I have used it almost every day since I first got it and it has never made my skin break out. It doesn't feel heavy on the face or cakey at all. It absorbs well and moisturises my skin type really well. I have quite sensitive skin and some moisturisers I use either cause me some irritation or have made my skin actually feel dry or sticky. This doesn't do that at all. I can use it, let it absorb and then apply foundation and it doesn't cause any clumps of makeup. I will be buying another one when this one runs out. In my opinion it's a great quality moisturiser.

This is probably the largest tub of moisturiser on the market and I was sceptical that such a large volume, for such a reasonable price, would work.As I hit the menopause my skin changed and is currently varying from dry to very dry. I needed a moisturiser that was gentle but effective. When it arrived I was concerned because it is a very thick moisturiser (for those my age, remember of Oil of Ulay or Avon?) and I was worried it would be claggy or too heavy for my skin. No such worries, although I do find that due to its thickness a little goes a long way - bonus. It absorbs well and doesn’t make me feel greasy. It is also fragrance free which I like.For those younger than me, it is perfect for slugging albeit with a moisturiser rather than Vaseline. I do this a few times a week on the eye lines and top lip.Obviously a massive plus point is the large pot that lasts a long time making it exceptionally good value for money.It’s not the nicest looking pot - a bit bulky and ugly but I can forgive that for its value and effectiveness. A firm 5 stars from me.
