This is an awesome set for Bill Nye fans and science lovers. As a parent who homeschools, I found this set not only to be entertaining but also has a lot of educational value as well. My eight year old son loves the kit. One thing to keep in mind, to get the full experience, the app is vital. That is how the VR itself works. My son uses an older phone, an S6 Active on WiFi at home, so he uses it for the VR. Being a somewhat older phone, the app is almost too much for it, so something to keep in mind. My son loves using the app and it really gets him hyped to learn new things. I like that it also includes a booklet that can be used hand in hand with the app, or just one its own. Through the app, you can also purchase the other Bill Nye VR programs for an additional fee. The kit comes with everything you need to build a rocket. All materials are good quality and held up well to our rocket tests. I like that the rocket is reusable to extend the fun. Overall, this kit is a lot of fun. It is especially great for Bill Nye fans and science lovers and is good to include in a homeschool curriculum as well.

This little kit is so much fun, great to work in groups or individually with, great for parent/child working too! The instructions are very easy to follow, simple to understand and are very thorough! This would make a great gift for any science lover as well as those involved in education! The experiments are so much fun to do and allow for so much joy and creativity! This would make a wonderful gift and is an unbeatable value!

i bought these 6 months ago. they were used several times at a vacation home. they both now do not work. the packaging says the grinders have a 2 year warranty. the packing claims that the seller will respond within 24 hours. i have tried to reach the seller via email for a week.. NO RESPONSE !!!

I ordered this for my daughter as a 10th birthday present and she LOVED it. She loved the creative part of it, as well as that the experiences combined with her phone (since it's so hard to pry her phone away). The goggles worked perfectly with her iPhone 11. My daughter had no idea who Bill Nye was, but I love the blast from the past. All in all, this was the best "boxed" science-experiment we've tried!

My son is not interested at all in this product- he is 13 and on the Spectrum. I don't know if it is just too much of a process for him to get into it enough to enjoy it, but we can't get him to really use it and learn all the neat things it offers. You may just need a child that is more curious about Rockets and such- The fact you couldn't just use it was hard for my son to understand.
