Castile Soap (Unscented) 16 Oz. (473ml) [Health and Beauty]- 2-pack

This Castile Soap worked very well for my intended application of making shampoo (I didn't like the scents or the nasty chemicals of most store-bought shampoos). The Castile Soap mixed will essential oils and a few other ingredients recommended by various DIY sites yielded a shampoo that lathers well, cleans my hair, and can be scented however I want for a price somewhat more than store shampoo like Suave or Herbal Essences, but less expensive than most organic shampoos.The only caveats:- The soap does have a slight scent. Unscented means there are no added fragrances, but there is some smell.- It is very thin and runny. I used Xanthan gum to thicken it for shampoo.All in all, I'm pretty happy with the price and effectiveness of this product.

Great, great soap. I love the fact that this has no extra ingredients....just what is needed to make the soap. It lathers beautifully and cleans without stripping my skin. It seems a tad expensive for me to buy on a regular basis, but if the price comes down, I will get more.

This is a gentle soap. I use it on excoriated areas from a dermatitis. It doesn't burn and it keeps the skin softened. I remember when I was young we used castile soap to bathe babies. I had forgotten about it until I saw it on Amazon. I immediately ordered some and I'm loving it.

The soap exfoliate my skin and leaves it so clean and fresh without the fragrances to irritate my skin. I'm very please with the results and I will continue to purchase this product.

It is a nuisance to try to find soap products that do not contain "nasties". I use EWG as my guide, and they recommend castile soap. However, the ones that I have found contain a lot of unnecessary ingredients. It was a relief to find this particular brand here at Amazon. To try out this product I purchased one bottle. It worked well, but my skin is sensitive. A product that works well once may not work well the next time.I am happy to report that after I had purchased the second bottle I was so pleased that I purchased this 2-pack set.This soap cleans the hands gently and effectively. There's no greasy feeling left behind. It can be used as a body cleanser as well as a cleanser in general.I am so enthusiastic about the job that it does for my hands since I wash them a "guzzilion" times a day.I highly recommend this product.

This is a gentle mild soap that feels so nice! I use it to clean my face and body. I have tried the sweet orange scent in the past and that one is lovely. Please don't change your formula. I will forever buy your soap.

I’ve saved a lot of money and avoided yucky chemicals like Triclosan using this Castile soap to DIY my own foaming hand soaps. I fill soap container about a quarter full with the Castile soap, fill the rest with water, then add about 10 to 15 drops of essential oil.
