Safety First
These Oregon chainsaw gloves arrived well packaged. I figure any brand that takes enough time to write up a spec. guide in multiple languages with instructions for proper use, is SERIOUS about their product. These are as advertised. I hope I never have to benefit from the safety features, but I’ll be glad I wore these gloves if anything like that happens. The left glove is noticeably more reinforced over the top of the hand. They say it’s for kickback injury prevention. I’m not sure about the theory behind LEFT HAND protection, but I’m glad someone put the thought into it. I haven’t experience any kickback injuries or mishaps, so I suppose it’s better safe than sorry here. These gloves have great leather palms and cross top banding. The orange color just shouts attention, which is what you want when handling and operating a chainsaw. Great value. Thanks for a solid reliable product. These will be the only gloves I wear when using my chainsaw.

Good gloves.
Good stuff. It’s hard to shell out money for safety equipment but eventually you’ll be glad you did. Murphy rules. Especially with chainsaws. The gloves were comfortable and protected my hand well. Reaching into the brush piles was not an issue.

Comfy and durable
I wore them all day four days in a row. they kept my hands protected and were comfortable. Big padding but I could still do the limb cleanup and chainsaw work I needed to do. I don't know if they protect against cutting accidents, thank goodness.

Fit well, made well, and hopefully work well.
This is the type of product that you hope you'll never really know how well they work! I have a large property that has a lot of fallen ash tress thanks to the emerald ash borer, so I cut a lot of downed wood for firewood. I own a 16" Stihl and 20" Echo saw, and at 67 years old my kids decided they wanted to up my personal protection gear. They got me an awesome set of Husky protective chaps and a helmet with face shield and muffs. Yes, I look like an orange lumberjack but feel much safer. These gloves completed the outfit and I'm glad I have them. They are soft enough to be easy to work with and I'm hoping the padding in the left glove will do the job if needed, and frankly I'm hoping to never find out. I'd buy another pair if I lost these.

Nice, but MEASURE!
I always thought I had big hands until I ordered these gloves. Felt like a kid putting his dad’s work gloves on.When you’re messing around with a chainsaw or climbing a tree, you don’t want baggy gloves. Measure your hand! Apparently they make these for giant lumberjacks, the men of men with palms the size of dinner plates, duel wielding chainsaws as they fell giant redwoods with each swath of their mighty saws. So unless you're Paul Bunyan, do yourself a favor and take the 2 mins to grab your tape and make sure you know your correct size. Then set aside your fallen pride and newfound inadequacy and order the medium. I now own a pair of nice gloves I’m going to turn into a rope bag or stuff one full of carabiners and cinch it off.

Nice gloves
Nice gloves. I was able to use the chainsaw without difficulty. You should measure your hand to get the correct size. I usually wear a size xl but the are perfect in a large size.
