OXOBrew Tea Infuser Basket 6 oz.

I waited 4 month to review this after reading about rust. I own two and neither have rusted with daily use and 15-30 minute steeps. I wash them daily with a melamine sponge and air dry them. No rust. Holes are very, very fine and catch most of the tea debris. The handles are wide enough to sit on old glass mugs with a width just over 4 inches. Only issue was an interior seam being off center on one, I received a replacement and it’s all good. Very happy with these and I am picky.Learning that 99% of tea bags are actually made of plastic and not paper was alarming. These stainless steel tea infusers eliminate that problem.

Tired of reading about the plastic particles from tea bags, so tried this infuser. Absolutely love it! The taste of tea is so pure, you realize how much the teabags were taking away from the taste. However, I do still like certain kinds of tea, which means cutting open the teabags and using them in this infuser. The super fine particles from the tea bags can still leak out a bit, so I pour the brewed tea through a natural coffee filter - problem solved! Leaves would probably work much better. The quality of this infuser is top notch. I have already bought two more to share with my family. Absolutely love this!

I was very excited to start using this for my loose leaf tea and it hasn’t disappointed. It has worked with all types of teas I enjoy (herbal blends, white teas, and black teas). I’ve tried it with coffee as well and worked beautifully. I’ve been very pleased with this purchase!

Dishwasher safe, easy to use. Better than tea bags, environmentally speaking. Plus you get to use better tea

I love this but if OXO ever does an update I would suggest maybe put the silicone tips on the ends of the infuser as it does get hot to touch. But otherwise it’s a definite recommendation.

I bought this for my lovely wife; she is a fan of loose leaf tea. It was an immediate hit and see use every day. I'd say it's worth its weight....recommended by Don.
