This sander works great. It’s super easy to use and does a great job on word products. For those concerned with sawdust, this is a sander. It sands/smoothed wood and produces sawdust. The dust collection works great and captures most of the sawdust. Do not use this sander in your kitchen or Living room as it produces sawdust.

Alright, so I picked up this SKIL Sander (SR211601) and put it to work when I finished my garage. Overall, I'd say it's a solid tool, especially considering the price point.For what I paid, this thing is a really great deal. It truly did work like a charm on the drywall – it handled the job smoothly and efficiently, making quick work of it. It feels good in the hand and just gets the job done without any fuss.My only real gripe, as is often the case with these types of tools, is the dust collector. It comes with a dust box, and yeah, it does collect some dust, which is better than nothing. But you'll still have a good amount of dust flying around. So if you're doing a big sanding job, definitely plan on wearing a mask and maybe hooking it up to a shop vac if you can, or just be ready for a bit of a dusty aftermath.Overall, this SKIL sander is a great pick for affordable DIY work at home — just don’t expect much from the dust collection.

This is a great orbital sander! It was easy to use and I liked that it had a container to catch the sanding dust. It came with sandpaper and was easy to apply. The noise level was typical, didn’t feel the need to wear noise canceling headphones but would recommend doing so. It was easy to remove the old varnish from my dresser project. The size was perfect along with easy to grip when sanding. Happy to recommend this sander.

Very easy for me as a woman to use. I am not a craftsman. But I needed to spruce up and outside wooden table.

This sire does the trick! Great quality and very handy. However, the cord to the plug in isn't the longest so you'll forsake have to have an extention cord.

GREAT orbital sander for the price -- not very loud. Easy to empty sanding dust box attached.
